A monkey puts it on with it's toothbrush. Mars only pay the monkeys £1.50 an hour. They have found a loop hole in the minimum wage structure that doesn't inlcude monkeys. If you concentrate you can actaully taste toothpaste and bananas in a Malteser.

you are right in assuming that there is a crease after spraying, i have worked at the factory that makes them for 7 years now, and the best job there is the one where you lick the creases off the sweets before they are packed into the bags. ENJOY.

The Chocolate coats the biscuit in a machine which actually is a stainless steel cement mixer. As it revolves all the bisciuts are coated evenly with chocolate. Clever Stuff..

it's a secret, even employees at Mars don't know that. the maltesers are locked away in room where the chocolate is added. personally i think they are moved in line by air and then have choclate sprayed on them they then free fall through cold air and the chocolate sets on them before they are packed into bags and boxes.
