my girlfriend's dad is being an idiot and he keeps thinking that we have had sex... And I'm wondering if her hyman (or however it's spelled) is broken or torn from before... If they could tell by someother way if we have had sex or not... And no... We haven't... I'm just wondering because right now... As it stands... I could get into a lot of trouble... Because she's 16 and I'm 18...

We are in Illinois... And I'm very certain she would have told me if she would have had sex before... And sorry... I'm a little uneasy about this question... But I just have to know if I would be in a crapload of trouble...

I know in GA there is a law that states if the patients doesnt want there parents to know that they have or have not had sex, the doctor CAN NOT tell them if they have maybe you could try that!!!!

Yes, virginity can be established by, prefferably, a professional doctor. However, virginity can be lost without even having had sex before. I think your word and her word should be sufficient to the parents of the girl.
But, if I were you and sure that nothing has had happened, I would not be worried at all.
Calm down and trust your honesty and her honesty.

they are able to take a look at her down there and tell if she has ever had sex. plus having sex isn't the only way to have a hyman broken... but a doctor would be able to tell.

Sounds like "daddy" know's what's up. He was your age before and he dated 16 year old chicks. So if I were you, I would try to get daddy to like me. Just tell the dad, look, you were my age once. You were your daughter's age once too. I want you to know that I love and respect your daughter and would do nothing in this world to harm her or her feelings. Then ask him... "do you remember in highschool, your girlfriend and your friends girlfriends, they were all having sex, some of it safe, some of it not safe. You should know that the sex your daughter and I will have in the future, will be safe and I'll be gentle."
Then if he does not hit you, you're in!

Only a doctor would be able to tell. The hymen can be broken just by playing sports and stuff so it doesn't only happen when sex occurs.

The only way you can tell is you get tested a few days after you have sex to see if there's any trace of your sperm inside her still.
