I filed on 1/29 and I received my refund today. I claimed the EIC credit but I did not claim the telephone excise tax credit. My bank is Citizens State bank.

Here is what is says online about DD for 2/9
"Your tax refund is scheduled to be direct deposited on February 9, 2007. If your refund is not credited to your account by February 14, 2007, check with your bank to find out if it has been received. Please wait until February 14, 2007 before you contact us again because we are unable to take any action until then."

I was told my refund would be deposited today also, but I filed through H&R block. I just got an email stating that the refund was deposited into H&R block's bank and they were deducting my fee and then it will be deposited into my bank account.

Each Bank has different procedures when it comes to posting direct deposits. You need to check with you bank to see when they post the transactions

The IRS cannot guarantee direct deposit dates. Usually it's nine business days, but in the past (for me) it's taken as many as 20.
