See ashek v2...., first thing let me tell u that, though it depends a lot on the type of the girl she is, but one thing is for sure that
girls like brave boys so do not use any middle men, secondly go to her tell her directly but do not be sounding too strong n brave and rude nor be very shy just be normal and ok. Best is try being normal and when you propose LOOK DIRECTLY INTO HER EYES eye contact is a very important thing and even though you feel nervous keep looking into her eyes till she reacts in any way or tells u an answer.
And as you said you love her a lot so ......don't worry your love will be reflected in the eyes ( i know it sounds a bit filmi but....beleive me its after all love)
So wish you all the luck.............do it as fast as you can, let her feel lucky to have someone like you in her life.
If time permits then please do let me know what happens (even though you don't apply my idea also)
And one last but important thing...............try telling it to her when she is alone and not in crowd, but otherwise also its ok. and never tell her in phone as it spoils all the charm.

No holidays...first of all this seems cheesy and also unoriginal. Make the proposal day very special. Take her away for the weekend or even for a day to someone very secluded very romantic and make sure the day is all about her. Then suprise her with a ring...it will be a great suprise.
