I have received my wifes W2 as well as mine already. I have an IRA and EIUL but have not recieved statements from them. I have not withdrawn any money from either account. Should I wait for a statement from each or is it okay to file now?

If you have the final statement of the year, go ahead and file.

With my IRA I don't usually receive the tax information until almost the end of the year after its suppose to be filed. So I would be way late doing my taxes.

If you have neither contributed nor withdrawn from your IRA, AND there are no other outstanding forms (i.e. 1099, 1098 etc), then I would say go ahead and file.

You would not report anything having to do with the IRA anyway. Even if you made contributions out of your paycheck, this would be reflected on your W-2......that you have.
