Problem just started yesterday. I drove it the 2 miles home but decided to walk to my train instead this morning.

Would you only trust a dealership to look at a problem like this?

Alignment is not normally lost in one day. Did you remember driving over a pothole?

First check the tires pressure. Shaking could also be caused by a damaged tire. Look for a hump in the tires surface. If this is the case, replace the damaged tires. Also, shaking can be caused by out of balance tires. Tires are balanced with small weights on the wheels, chek if one of the fell off (you will se the mark in the rim).

If this is not the case, then take your car to any shop you trust enough. Don't use the stealership unless is a tricky problem others cant solve. Car shaking and veering should be something very easy to diagnose by a trained mechanic.

If your tires are okay, you are most likely out of alignmet as others said. Be careful though if were driving staright one day and then the other your car is pulling to a side. A component of the steering system could be broken.

You can also check your steering rack for leaks. If you see leaks it can be an indicative that your steering rack needs replacing. This could cause the symtoms you described.

Something has been damaged or has loosened up in your front suspension, might even be a wheel. It could also be some pressure problem in the power steering. Get this checked as soon as possible by a competent repair shop, not necessarily the dealer. My feeling is that whatever the problem, it will be very evident to someone inspecting the vehicle.

that is been my adventure that the impulse sensor/ crank sensor purely supplies a commencing situation. the ignition module itself could desire to be undesirable, as in a solder joint on the circuit board. you won't be in a position to open them to envision. the extra user-friendly fault is a circuit board situation with the biggest/gasoline pump relay. that relay is white, and can be in the back of the ash tray and the sprint cubby hollow. that relay you are able to open up and consider the circuit board with a mag glass. they could have a date on the exterior of the housing, whether it rather is better than 10years previous, merely replace it regardlessly. then there's a radio suppression relay that's a black housing, that relay powers up the injectors, then the laptop pulses the floor area, they are in a position to bypass undesirable, and supply the top faults your describing. if the automobile is a regina/ rex automobile, then that's the only gasoline pump the automobile has, interior the tank, this is the situation. regina/rex vehicles have a map sensor close to the firewall under the hood. additionally in case you seem on the gasoline filter out under the drivers area physique, if that is purely a gasoline filter out, no electric powered connections for a gasoline pump, then it rather is a regina/rex automobile. overlook the igniton change.

. I would go to a mechanic you trust who s familiar with your car. If you have none than take it to a dealer, but get a written estimate first. and ask questions. It sounds like you need your tires balanced and an alignment. If the engine is shaking it may be the motor mounts need checking/replacing.

It sounds like your alignment is off. I would take the car in to your dealership or an auto body shop, I don't think it makes a difference which one.
