If you signed the Federal Buyers Guide that states "As Is, No Warranty", then you have no recourse.

You may contact the dealer/individual you purchased it from to see if they may assist in getting the car running, but they have no legal obligation whatsoever to do so.

The only recourse you may have is if a mechanic discovers that the car was rigged to run for a short time, or a temporary fix was done, which is hard to prove.

Check your states lemon laws. If the dealer you bought the car from is working with you then this would be your only course of action.

It depends on why the car isn't working also. Could be something simple and could be something that they knew about.

i own a repair shop, and i,ll tell you how you might can get it repaired or replaced, some of my family owns a car lot,and they will help people who call or come in,and who talk to them nice, don't call the lot ,and jump on them because this approach doesn't work, they wont help you if you handle it like this call and be nice, and ask to speak with the manger, and i bet if you talk nice and tell them your situation, you,ll either get another car or that one repaired, being nice goes a long way, even though they don't have to ,most of the time they will help you ,try the nice way,and see if that helps,it always works at our lot,we help people all the time ,good luck i hope this help,s.

Nope, unless the guy is super nice, that is why they sell them "as is" so you can't return it after it is off the lot.
