Egg substitute is yellow colored egg whites and a good source of protein. There is no cholesterol egg substitute because there is no egg yolk. Egg yolk is what contains cholesterol.

Sue try using just the whites this way you get all the good stuff with little cholesterol and if you have high numbers ask your doctor about grape seed extract I have had my hubby on them and they seem to help.

It should be, just check the back of the carton and it will tell you what the cholesterol percentage is, it its higher then your other substitute, then dont use it,.
