I was having a itch for a day. I think it was from a body wash that had perfume in it. I bathed again and used something different and i have been ok since. Should I still use a little monistat just in case I have a yeast infection? I know pregnant women are more prone to getting yeast infections during their pregnancy. I am 16 weeks pregnant. What should I do?

If it's not itching, there's not point in using the Monistat. Just wait, because more than likely it was the body wash. Woman's skin is more sensitive while pregnant, so while that wash may have never made you itch before, it could be now.

I'd seriously get it checked out. I remember the last time I developed a yeast infection during this pregnancy, the signs were very settle. I had mild itching after intercourse and then the signs were gone for a couple of days. When I went to my midwife the following week she asked if I was experiencing any itching or discomforts and I told her about the previous week. It ended up being a yeast infection that was easy to treat but could have been worse if gone unnoticed and treated.
