I know this sounds pretty gross and maybe funny but someone told me to put "preparation H" under my eyes & sure enough I tried it ~ what was it going to hurt?!!! lol But unfortunately, I wasn't too sure about that b/c now I have redness/irritation underneath my eye so I didn't put that on my skin anymore ~ I only put it on for one night. So, I don't know. Can someone help me, maybe?

An old-fashioned remedy for under-eye circles, bags and darkness is sliced raw cucumber. It makes a convenient disk you can place on your (closed) eyes for a refreshing 'mask'.
Also, dark circles under the eyes can indicate troubles or beginning troubles with the urinary tract system.
Drink plenty of fresh water and get plenty of sleep.
Too much coffee doesn't help you either - cut down.
Any cream under the eyes won't help your dark circles - it may improve the skin moisture though, so don't neglect to put regular moisturizer there.

Probably allergies and the skin under the eye is very thin , translucent. Try more rest. Maybe claritin will help. And a lot of the makeup in the stores have skin brighteners. Bonnie Bell has a nice all over face bronzer in powder form(Cheap too).

Try tea bags, soak 2 tea bags in warm water, squeeze excess tea out of bags and put the bags over your eyes this makes a nice warm compress for you eyes don't get them too hot or burn yourself, leave the bags on for 10-15 min, I have used this myself and was told to try this by an MD, I also use St Ives, eye & face stress gel, cost around $3.00 you keep it in the frig. it feels great, it's also made with cucumbers.
PS: I did read about using preparation H for pimples in a magazine.
