If you mean you made tea from a chili pepper and water, just add more water (and any other ingredients to keep it tastin' gooood).

I have heard that if you add a small amount of baking soda it will cut the heat...also the longer you cook it the more it reduces and the flavors intensify, so also...and I am answering a bit late...if you haven't already done so, remove from the stove....learned this the hard way with a marinara sauce that I'd innocently added a bunch of red pepper flake to...

sounds a bit rank but ad some milk untill it milds down, u wont notice, providing u dont add too much, mind u, depends on how hot u made it to how mych u will wanna add, stir in well.
