This would be easier if we knew your music tatses, can you give ua an idea of what you like.
I have heard "When you say nothing at all" sung by Allison Krauss (but she didnt write it she remade it I have no idea the original artists) and I think that is a very sentimental song about someones love for their spouse, maybe if that fits your tastes it would be a good song.
ETA: How about "In Your Eyes" by Peter Gabriel?

I dont know if this will help you out but my husband is a romantic also. My mom and her boyfriend sang "Tonight I Celebrate my Love" by Peabo Bryson & Roberta Flack and "Don't Know Much" by Linda Ronstadt & Aaron Neville and during the wedding they sang "From this Moment On" by Shania Twain & Byran White. I hope this helped you. good luck

I've always been partial to "the Wedding Song" written by Paul Stookey of Peter, Paul and Mary. (written for Peter Yarrow's marriage to Marybeth McCarthy, the niece of senator Eugene McCarthy)
The Wedding Song
by Peter, Paul and Mary
He is now to be among you at the calling of your hearts.
Rest assured this troubadour is acting on His part.
The union of your spirits here has caused Him to remain,
for whenever two or more of you are gathered in His name,
There is love. There is love.
Oh, a man shall leave his mother, and a woman leave her home.
They will travel on to where the two will be as one.
As it was in the beginning, is now until the end,
Woman draws her life from man and gives it back again
and there is love. Oh, there's love.
Well then what's to be the reason for becoming man and wife?
Is it love that brings you here or love that brings you life?
For is loving is the answer then who's the giving for?
Do you believe in something that you've never seen before?
Oh, there's love. There is love.
He is now to be among you at the calling of your hearts.
Rest assured this troubadour is acting on His part.
The union of your spirits here has caused Him to remain
For whenever two or more of you are gathered in His name
There is love. Oh, there is love.
Captain & Tennille also recorded their version of the song.

You should really sit down one day and take a few hours to listen to a ton of different songs that when you hear them on the radio, you think of him. Listen to them closely, get to know the words, and when one hits you that certain way, you'll know. You can't have someone else tell you what to play for him. We don't know him and don't know the two of you together.
