I need help picking out a bed set. I want one that sets the romantic mood since next week is Valentines day. Any help is appreciated.

I like the one from Walmart. The burgandy paisley design. I thought I found myself a comforter on Bylane Home. It was gorgeous and on sale and OUT OF STOCK...lol
I think the Walmart one sets the mood more than the blue one. Good luck

It partially depends on who needs more help to get into a romantic mood...
If you notice, the one man chose the blue one while more of the women are choosing the burgundy/pink. So, you might need to think about whether Mr. Army-Husband or Mrs. Army-Wife needs more assistance.
Either way, I like Samm's suggestions about white scented candles and low-lighting. Vanilla's a good scent for a romantic night.

in color psychology, blues are relaxing, peaceful and can even slow down your heart rate.
Reds/pinks (the walmart one is kind of in between): are racy, pinks are romantic. Reds and pinks are sensual. Pink is just a lighter shade of red on the color spectrum.

i don't like the blue it seems too stark and cold, the walmart one is much better, but out of stock

98% of All Men LOVE blue. I would go with blue, wash the linens so they are soft.
White scented candles will go nicely with this set. Put low wattage light bulbs in your lamps.
