Yes, but it tends to separate upon thawing if it was mixed with other ingredients. If you can re-stir the recipe upon thawing and use it immediately, then it should be okay. If the recipe calls for it to be heated, then that would be better.

I have frozen cheese. If I find it on sale I will buy it up and freeze most of it. The only thing is that it is not fit for 'table' use, but rather cooking. I have frozen milk and butter too without any problems.
(ever seen a frozen cheesecake?)

Yes you can freeze it! it has to wrapped airtight and will only keep for about 2 months.

Sure why not. If it's in the cube then yes you can, but dont' freeze it if it's in the tub.
