- Stay with 3 meals a day and try to have the warm meal at midday so your body has enough time to digest it.
- Eat a salad meal a day.
- A light break fest

And every distance you can do with walking..... do so, take the stairs more often. It's in the little things.

I agree with Nituniyo, when you stop exercising then you'll gain some weight back. But I do understand not having energy to keep up a rigourous exercise program! If you're not able to work out as much, then you need to work out hard when you do. If you are a gym member, then try to get there 2-3 times a week for 30-45 min. One of those days, do weights training to tone up. If you don't go to a gym then walk/run and get a Pilates DVD. Pilates is great for a non-vigourous workout but it really builds your "core." As far as eating, try not to eat past like 7 or 8pm; eat only when you're hungry; eat smaller portions-which means you can indulge, but don't go overboard. I know all this is easier said than done, but I know you've already figured out that keeping weight off has to a new lifestyle change. Good luck! I know it's a struggle!

1. Diet should consist mainly of high bulk, low calorie foods (think veggies, fruit, whole grains) 2. Don't eat 2-3 hours before bedtime. 3. Drink at least 64 oz of water each day. 4. Moderate excercise most every day (think 5-6 days per week if high intensity) 5. Don't consider any food completely off limits. The key is portion size. If a slip is made (meaning an emotional breakdown that leads to a dozen donuts... admit it, it happens!) then an immediate U turn without punishment and shame is required. The next food choice after the binge should be a food item that would be more typical and healthy.

Why the loss of energy? You may be not be eating the right way. Moderate exercise and a well-balanced diet should keep you from gaining weight.

With working out you also get more energy so even if you don't want to keep doing it. You will notice that afther a while your energy level will adjust.

Besides that quit sugar, caffeine and the bad fats (try herbal teas some of them actually tast good like honeybush tea),that also will help push your engery level up.

always makes me chuckle really, its a toboo subject but its not rocket science as some make out,the simple fact is to lose weight you have to use more calories than you are taking in.if you take in more than you use then you will put on weight, look up and sort yourself out with a good diet and excersize a small amount daily if possible, just a short brisk walk for 10 minits is enough to get your body awake and running more efficiently.watch the calories,it is possible to eat well and lose weight but its far better to work out your own diet based on things you like.

eat more healthy food, and less junk. Celery actually has a "negative net energy co-efficient" It takes more energy to digest it than you can extract from the celery.

In theory not gaining weight is easy.

When calories in (Basically eating) = calories out (eating less, eating different foods, exercise) then your weight will remain stable.

When calories in < calories out, then you will loose weight.
when calories in > calories out, then you gain weight.

It's much easier said than done though.

Don't eat fatty foods at night, but one thing you MUST do is NOT SKIP MEALS! By skipping meals you loose nutrients that you need no matter what you eat. Good luck!
