You don't say what your dress is like, or your veil or headpiece, but how about curling it, pinning it loosely back from your face, with a few curls left loose around your face, and then decorating with flowers. Maybe wear some pretty dangly pearl earrings as well.
Congratulations!

Go to a hairdresser with your veil and ask her to style your hair in different ways and pick which one you like the best. Since your hair is short it'll probably only take about 1 1/2 hours to see all the different styles (cost less than $100). You'll know the hairstyle you like. Be sure to write down the style or better--take a photo, so when it's time for her to style your hair for the wedding there will be no misunderstanding. Also, ask how long she thinks it'll take on your wedding day to schedule enough time. Best wishes!

I have really short hair too, but it wasn't a problem at all. There are many things you can do. During my engagement, each time I got my hair cut, my hairdresser and I would try some ideas with it--it was fun! In the end, I had my hair styled a little more formally than I usually wear it, and topped it off with a tiara, no veil. It worked great with my face and my dress, which was an elegant satin sheath.

I know the style you're talking about, I used to have it, and I've seen it done for weddings. Sleek it back and get one of the veils that connects to a headband or to a hair clip (NOT a comb). Some of these veils have little tiaras attached to them too. Below is a link to the type of veil I'm talking about. This is great because you can really get creative with your earrings, and if you practice, you can do it yourself and save lots of money.

Talk to your hairdresser. I'm sure between the 2 of you, you can figure out a slightly different way to style your hair on your wedding day so that it will still be flattering to your face, and yet look "wedding-ish" Congrats and good luck!!

Honey....a man has asked you to be his wife and be together for the rest of your lives.
Put a little extra conditioner in your or something for a little extra body and I can promise you he will think you are the most beautiful woman in the world.
Focus on some sexy makeup, maybe dark eyes or darker lips than he's used to. Or...wear a wedding gown that's all boobs and he won't even look at your face:)
Best Wishes and congratulations.

Tiara's and different head peices definitely help with changing the styles a bit, even clips to match your dress or headbands. If wearing a veil, pulling it back with clips and curling it would probably look great! Have fun and good luck!

i would def. say pull it back away from your face, maybe parted more to one side than other and then pull back, or if you have the funds, some hair pieces. They make some very nice ones that are just clips and like things. Just for some variation. You might try talking to a local salon, they may have some good and affordable ideas as well.

I think a great hat can really compliment your face and hair. Decorate a white hat with a small tuile veil over the eyes and white silk flowers on the brim. this will look very classy for the fall.

Check with a hair dresser- they can do some amazing stuff with wedding hair. Also you could by a hair piece to add to the length of your hair if you want a certain style.
Go to theknot.com to check out different hair dos
