Are all diuretics made with large amounts of caffine? I dont want to feel jumpy but I am going out tomorrow night and I feel bloated. Will the diuretics cut down on bloating? Will it flatten my tummy at all if I take some today? I have never used water pills do they really work for a quick little fix?

Diuretics may help you lose a few pounds of water weight. However, as soon as you drink something, your body will replace what you lost. The most dangererous thing about using diuretics is electrolyte imbalances which can kill you. Specifically, low potassium and low magnesium (which diuretics make you pee out) can cause heart arrythmias that are fatal. In my opinion, it is totally not worth it!

There are a couple new ones out that are caffeine free my sister just bought at Walgreens.
It only gets rid of bloating excess water, reasons why girls buy it when auntie flow visits.
It will not help you lose weight, just water. If you're uncomfortablly bloated and are usually flat tummied , then yes it will help with that just stay away from liquids tomorrow night lol.
There are no quick fixes that don't cause some sort of damage to your health so always becareful you only have one body take care of it.
Good luck!

removing water can cause dehydration; set your priorities your health or fitting into an outfit; lemons in water is a natural diuretic but really be happy with yourself! otherwise you will never be happy that extra pound, that wrinkle ; wrong color eyes ; etc

The pharmaceuticals are poison, and cause an electrolyte imbalance. Corn silk tea works well. A friend could not put her shoes on. She had a cup of tea, went to the bathroom, and could put her shoes on.
