Given the shear number of galaxies and planets in our universe, I'd say there are other planets that contain life.

Atheism by default is lack of belief in a God.... I would not believe in an Alien. I do believe that it is likely that Alien life forms could exist, but do not hold that opinion as a fact.

I know God and I know of his plan. The Bible mentions that God created the worlds. I understand this as meaning there are other planets populated with his children. How far they have progressed will be different then ours depending on their start time.
