What is the reason behind it? Is it due to any physical health problem?

Are you getting this feeling from touching anythng, whatsoever? Or does it just happen out of the blue without touching anything. If it's out of the blue I would go to the dr. If it's not, it is simple static electricity.

If it is not due to any injury to a nerve that gives such feeling, please check if it could be because of static electricity generated when you wear synthetic materials like polyester, nylon, etc. When clothing made from these fibers are worn, some people do experience the static electricity in the form of a mild shock.

depending on WHERE you feel the shock, it could be something as simple as a nerve that just got pushed around a little bit, or something like that. however, if the feeling is constant, i would consult a doctor as soon as you can.

If you are getting that feeling more often, it is better to see a neurologist (specialist in nervous system disorders). Once a diagnosis is made, treatment can be given in either allopathy or homeopathy systems.
