Flying out of Manchester Airport to Spain in 2 weeks and want to know if I can take a 500ml or 250 (if I can find one) factory sealed carton of skimmed milk. I will be arriving at my flat at night and want to be able to make a drink of tea. No shops will be open when I arrive. This
never used to be a problem but don't know how to find out the present situation. Trying to speak to M/c airport is just about impossible on automated phone system.

Hello, You can take 100 ml of sealed liquids through I believe but opened liquids will be taken away from you. 250/500ml would probably be take off you. The best thing to do would be to pack it in your suitcase - padded and in a bag to prevent leakage!!
Alternatively buy it in the airport after security if you can.
In fact - pinch a few of those little milk pots you get with tea and coffee in cafes!!
Its best just not to risk it.

Hi there

I flew from Manchester to Ireland a couple of weeks ago and I am almost certain you are only allowed to bring 20ml of liquid with you as they would not even allow a bottle of perfume through. One piece of advice go hours before you need to travel as it is taking ages and I mean ages to get through all the security checks. Maybe could you put some milk in a sealed plastic bag or sealed tupperware carton and just put it in your suitcase that would be ok only make sure its well sealed and padded !! have a great time.

You can hand carry liquids of 100ml or less. Everything else has to be put in your checked in baggage. Not a good idea to put milk in your suitcase for obvious reasons. I would go with the powdered milk option as suggested by chip2001.

Any liquids being taken through security cannot be in containers any bigger than 100mls and must fit into a clear, sealable plastic bag (like a sandwich bag).

If you're desperate to take it through, decant the milk into 100ml bottles and it will be fine to take through in the bag. You could buy milk once you have passed through security or like soneone suggested, rob some of those one portion things from a restaurant.

Powdered milk is fine to take thorugh security.

purely verify you keep on with the three-a million-a million rule, 3 oz..or a lot less, a million quart length bag, a million bag per man or woman. see you later as each thing matches contained in the bag you may take as a lot beverages as in superb condition. verify you verify proper before you leave, the guidelines can change on a moments word. also, mascara and lipgloss are considered beverages.

Put it your suitcase. They only seem bothered about liquids in hand baggage.
Or get some powdered milk - put that in your suitcase, too.

i had a bottle of coke in a london flight and security took it off me! the only way you can bring it is if you buy it in an airportshop AFTER going through sercurity - they allow this!
