Hi there!
A couple of things come to mind:
First, always pray in the will of God, not in your own will. If you had a little child, and that child begged for a rattlesnake, and wanted it more than anything in the whole world - even said mommy, daddy!! - you don't understand - I NEED IT!!!! Would you give it to the child?
Not if you love him, you won't. Well, sometimes its the same with God. He sees the whole bigger picture, where we don't. Maybe what you think you need and/or want isn't whats best for you. Your Father in Heaven will withhold something if its gonna end up in disaster for you.
Another thing to keep in mind, is that as a people, we are very, very impatient. We want everything right now!! We want everything to be instant - instant oatmeal, instant coffee,
even instant religion in alot of cases. We get angry when we have to wait in line, hurry hurry hurry. Well, God isn't in a hurry, and He wants us to learn patience. Alot of times when we pray for something, we want it right now -
the problem is, again, God sees the bigger picture. Perhaps if He were to grant your prayer request, it may have a negative impact on somebody else - and we have to remember that God has many children, and so He's not gonna give you something right now, just because you aren't patient - when it will be causing a problem to another one of His kids.

Your prayers are heard by God; in fact, the manuscripts tell us that they are so important and so noticed by God, that He actually keeps them "in bottles". So, if you don't get your prayers answered, ask yourself a few questions about those prayers - this will give you more insight into yourself, and into the mind of God.
Remember, too, that God is Your Father in Heaven - He is the closest relative you have, and if its the right thing to do, to answer your prayers, He would do just that. But don't lose hope, keep that communication going with Him, just keep in mind what and how you are asking.

We know that Allah answers all the prayers of the believers. This can be in 4 ways:

1- Get what we are asking for!

2- Get something as good or better!

3- We get spared something bad that would have happened otherwise.

4- We get rewarded on the day of Judgment with a much greater reward than what we were asking for on earth.

When does Allah not answer our prayers?
* When it is bad for us!

* When we ask, but not from our heart!

* When we say: I asked and asked and He did not answer.

* When we eat, drink, and wear unlawful, food, and clothes, and property that wa earned either through interest from the bank, or that was stolen, or if the food was pork, or the like.

What can I ask of Allah?
Any thing but don't ask Him to do things like make you a prophet. Cause He has already said that there will be no more prophets.

You can ask Allah for guidance. Meaning you can ask Him to show you the correct religion.

God answers prayers according to His will and not our will. He knows what is the right thing to give us at the right time. If some of our prayers are not answered it can be that the answer may not be good for us or it is not the right time to have it. Our prayers are not answered if we pray with a selfish motive. However we know not what to pray but the Holy Spirit can help us by providing us the words to pray in tongues or in the Spirit - Rom 8:26-28. The Holy Spirit helps us to pray all kinds of prayer which we do not know so that all things will work together for our good. When you pray in the Spirit God's plan will work out well in your life. Taste and see that the Lord is good.

"Pray as though you have already received what you are praying for." And then, leave it alone. If it comes to mind simply say, "Thank you Jesus for hearing my prayers." If you pray the same prayer over and over, then it is not the prayer of faith because it is like saying, "He must not of heard you the first time." He hears all prayer and if it is in line with His will, He will answer in His perfect time, not yours. Eveytime you pray the same prayer over you have canceled the previous one on the same prayer. You should also ask forgiveness for not having the faith to believe, when you prayed the first time. Ferverent prayer is not repetition, it is with fire and faith when you pray. You just know that your petition is in line with the Word and the will of God and it excites you. You are ferverent. and try praying out loud and be specific. Satan may hear it too and try to alter the prayer by giving you something similar to your prayer, but do not accept anything by the exact thing you are praying for. If you are praying for $100,000. in one lump sum and somebody gives you a $100. dollar bill, the best thing you can do is to plant the $100 in some other ministry cause. It is not the money you have been praying for if your petition was for $100,000.

Are you praying for selfish reasons, like asking for wealth to come your way? What are you praying for?

Normally, prayer is praising God and thanking Him for His mercy and grace, His unconditional love, His accepting you into His family. Its then praying for His will to be done through you and for you. Your concerns about people, the world, the lost souls...then thanking Him for His Son.

Are you praying in demand that God do this or that? If so, you won't see results! I've seen prayer answered almost immediately, some times over a course of a few weeks or months, and yes even some prayers have gone unanswered.

Maybe you are not making a prayer for something that has a lasting relevance!
As for the environment I feel if it gives you too much then the chances of being happier are less than what will happen if you choose to give whatever little you can give to the environment!Either you can choose to influence or be influenced by the environment.

A perfect environment in this life is not realistic. We live in a fallen world and are fallen ourselves. The consequences of sin are driving this world to an untimely end, an end that Christ will preempt at His second coming. We should pray for God's will to be done, and with the help of the Holy Spirit we can do that. But don't listen to these "name it and claim it" types who tell you that God wants you to be rich and the perfect specimen of a healthy human. If you believe in God, then believe that all things work together for your good. Our rewards and our treasures should be in Heaven, and while we are here, "with food and clothing be content."

When we think of "unanswered" prayer, it may be that we do not understand the way in which God responds to our requests. He may not grant an immediate answer, and sometimes our prayers are answered in a way that we fail to recognize. We pray for prosperity, and sometimes financial stress is given. But our souls are made stronger for the test. We pray for health, and affliction is given, and we are better able to sympathize with those in affliction. God makes no mistakes, though at times we may question His wisdom. Read 2 Peter 3:9.

Our motive for making a request to God must be pure. If your prayer is self-centered, concerned with the gratification of your own desires, God cannot, in faithfulness, grant your requests. James 4:3 says, "When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures."

Perhaps you are praying for a person close to you, and you have not seen any changes. God can work through your prayers to soften a heart or to bring about circumstances to draw those for whom you are praying closer to Him. However, God has given man a free will. If your prayers are not always answered as you expect, it is not because God is not working in the situation. It may be that the person for whom you are praying has not yet responded to God's call. You must not permit yourself to give in to despair. You should, however, continue in prayer, knowing that the Lord is more concerned for them than you are and that it is His will to help them; read 1 Timothy 2:4, 2 Peter 3:9, and 1 John 5:14-15.

So often we are inclined to think that the only answer God can give our prayers is "yes." We need to remember that "no" is an answer also. "No" is certainly an answer of love on the part of our Heavenly Father when we ask Him for things which are not really for our good or for His glory. God does not always give us what we want; He gives us what we need. Just as a good parent does not grant all the requests of his child, God does not answer every request in the way we desire. Consider these things as you continue to take your needs to the Lord in prayer.

Prayer should be not specific. We should pray the Almighty that we are to be helped in our sincere attempts. Best prayer is praying for the peaceful mind. This will cover all.

When you pray and it's answered, it will be answered in God's timing and not yours. You have to remember and trust in God, that He sees from point A to point Z, but we can only see from Point A to Point B. Another thing is if you are holding anything against a brother in unforgiveness, or has done another brother wrong and haven't repented for it, that as well could keep you from recieving your answered prayers, amongst many other things. The main thing is to pray from the heart, and pray for other people as well. Prayer is not just for you, but for you to pray for others as well.
