Today I am meeting with the priest from my parish. I am very nervous for some reason. I know it's probably just me. Can you please just tell me what to expect? Thank You!

I was very nervous meeting my preist for the first time also. He talked to us individually and asked us questions like when did we meet, how did we get engages, why do i want to marry him, etc. then he talked to both of us together and explained everything we had to do leading up to the wedding. After the meeting was over I really didn't know what I was nervous for.

It's no big deal.
If you are meeting him because you will be getting married in the near futur, he will talk about married like. He will ask if you attend regularly and expect that for the next 10 Sundays both you and your boyfriend attend mass.
They just don't want people jumping into marriage (it is a sacrement in the eyes of the church) and will probably recommend a 3 day course that they offer.
Stop worrying

Don't be nervous. He'll first ask you about the weather, then will say something like, "So you want to get married?" Then he will ask you a bunch of questions while he fills out a worksheet and schedule another appointment.

He will not ask you how you want your ceremony to go, because A, it's the first meeting, and B, Catholic Ceremonies are fixed. If you want a Mass, it's the Mass, if you want a ceremony without Mass, it's the ceremony without Mass.

1st they look to see how much you have donated to the church.
They ask how long you are dating and how you met. They check to see if they can marry you on the day you picked. Last but not least they give you a list of fee's which they call donations, and tell you what you need to do before the wedding (marriage license and pre- can). This is not a big deal. With all the bad press on the Catholic Church many people have left I do not see you having a problem..

It depends on why you are meeting him. Generally most priests are very nice and friendly; you'll be fine. If you are not comfortable with this person find another priest.

He'll just tell about marriage and he wants to make sure that you guys are ready for marriage, why you want to be married, and what marriage means to you. He'll probably ask you questions about how you want your ceremony to work too.

You will need marriage and divorce certificates from any previous marriage, and your baptismal/confirmation proof, for starters. And to the poster who bashed, it cost me 25.00. Geewhilkers, that's a ton of money...!
