To Buddhist monks/meditators it does not matter where they meditate.It is all in the mind.

Sounds like that's a real tall order. You're asking if one religion can practice in disregards to the tenets of another religion. I don't imagine buddhists will openly meditate in at the Kaaba in Mecca for a long time.

I don't think it's something very many Buddhists would consider a high priority. The Kaaba is sacred to Muslims, their holiest place on Earth. I don't feel slighted that I, as a non-Muslim, am not welcome there, and I doubt most Buddhists would either. As a non-Jew, neither do I expect to be invited up to read from the Torah at synagogue.

Isn't going to happen in the near future. Mecca is closed to non-Islam people. Saudi isn't going to change that.
Even non-Islamic engineers can't enter the city and do all of their work via closed circuit TV to check construction.
