I know you love him, now show him more respect, tell him that you love him, do for him those little things that may seem insignificant like making him a meal, sharing quality time together eg sitting down and talking about everything and nothing that is if he has the time but he should also treat you well too. All the best

Be yourself. Be happy with who you are. Sometimes people try to be what they think the other partner wants them to be. That just makes both of you miserable and destined for failure. If you are really young being yourself can be hard. Usually someone really young is still trying to figure out who the self is. Heck as I age I find that self changes all the time.

Be patient and understanding. Show your strength, and compassion. Most importantly be YOURSELF! You can only act for so long before a guy catches on and then it's all down hill from there.

be confident, don't depend on him for your happiness. Give of yourself to your community, and show that others matter to you. Guys like it if they have to chase you.
You still have to be feminine but confident. They like it when they have to open doors for you, or open a jar lid, anything to show their strength.
They like it when you are fun and not serious all the time.
Always look your best, from the inside out.

Note to [most] other responders and to original poster: girls who expect their boyfriends/husbands to accept them as they are, without putting forth any effort to please their partner, should fully expect to be looking for a new boyfriend soon.
Relationships are not about what's in it for you - it's about what's in it for him/her.
You ever wonder why nobody gets a divorce and says it was because "he was unhappy"? No, it's usually because "I wasn't happy". How selfish is that?
