Feed the dog either tuna or give it omega-3 pills (fish oil). This not only will help many things with the dog (heart, respiratory...etc), but will make the coat look amazing.

Dear, If you love your GSD, don't ever gave him raw egg. After all he is not human. Raw egg is not meant for dogs. Although Egg is highly inriched in protiens, but that doesn't mean all form of eggs are suitable for dogs. You can fed him with half boiled eggs. Not more then 2 per day.
Else you can try Pedigree dog food. This is the most balanced and easily available dog food in market. They also guarantee you for rich & shining coat.
Last and the important one. Brush your puppy daily with suitable brush or comb. This helps in healthy coat and also makes a healthy relation between you and your puppy.

Make sure there is enough protein in his diet. Most puppy foods have plenty they are formulated to keep your dog healthy. Not all dog foods are created equal check out yours. The main ingredient which is listed 1st should be meat. corn should n't be one of the first 2 ing. I think Bil Jac is best then One. That and meat scraps is all I feed my dog. He is now 5.

Look for a food with flaxseed and/or omega 3 oils. If you are unable to find one you're happy with you can get these as supplements. A raw egg over food a few times a week is also fabulous.

Diet is the key. if you are feeding a high quality all natural food, then that's great. You can also add some flax oil to the food once a day, that will really help.

Sounds silly, but use horse shampoo. I've even known of people using it for really shiny hair and believe me, it works!!
Also, a good balanced diet will help your puppies coat.

his feed should be supplemented with glossy coat(venkys product) or nutricoat(petcare product) . inspite of that you should brush his coat daily and keep the fur neat and clean. you should use coat conditioner which is available in the pet shops.
