okay, whenever i sleep on my couch, and after i wake up, it's been like, about 2-6 hours. Sometimes, all night. But I don't feel as energetic as I would if I slept in my bed. Is there really a big difference? I thought that sleeping somewhere just as comfortable would just be the same as in my bed.

You think it is as comfortable, but your body does not. I would bet that you are tossing and turning and don't even realize it. When that happens you wake up for a split second, so you never reach the deep sleep stage.

You have your own experiences and I have mine. I have slept in a bed, on a couch, on the floor, on the ground, scrunched up in the back of a little car and sitting up in a bus, to name but a few. For me, sleep is sleep. Many's the time I have saved the price of a motel room by sleeping in a car, on a baseball field, in the woods, etc.

it would seem that you are not getting as good sleep on the couch. maybe you think it's the same comfort level, but your body feels differently.
