I want to get my girlfriend a box of chocolates for valentine's day, but there's a problem... she's allergic to nuts. Does anyone know of any brands of chocolates that are nut-free? It would also be nice if they were somewhat affordable... I'm on a budget! Thanks!

No.
Most industrial companies are too damn lazy to clean their equipment between batches. Bottom line.
There is a place called Vermont that makes their chocolates in a dedicated bakery, but you'd pay shipping, and they could become damaged in the process.

You can make your own truffles very inexpensively, and it will be much more special to her. This is what I've been forced to do with every known food to man, as my son suffers from anaphylaxis.
