If you have athletes foot (fungus based infestation of the space between the toes causing an itch) you should consider 3 things:
1 apply a miconazol based unguent after each bath or shower
2. keep your feet as dry as possible and as ventilated as possible
3. change sox daily and buy new sox: your old ones are contaminated.
After a week of this you should be OK.
Please note that if left untreated AF can cause superinfections in the feet and spread to the legs, groin and even arms. All the best.

I know it's disgusting, but when DH was in the army, that's exactly what they told him to do.

If that sounds a little too disgusting, I would try over-the-counter sprays instead of creams. I've found the sprays are better at controlling the itching and discomfort, and they are much less messy.

Unfortunately, once you've had it once, it tends to come back quite often. It will be worth it to find a medication that works for you instead of just trying to ride it out.

Sterlize your shoes and socks. Soak your feet in a cup of epsom salt with cool water. Dry them with paper towels especially between the toes. Now lotion them with AVG (apple cider vinegar) or Tea Tree Oil and let them air dry. DO this twice daily until fungus is gone!
