I think it is different for everyone and past experience can affect this too. if someone has been badly hurt in the past they will take longer to fall in love and trust again.. (self preservation mechanism kicking in)

I think the older I get the longer I get to fall in love but dont know. Some of my friends feel the same but maybe not everyone is like that?

It's different for everyone.. I felt my last relationship was love at first sight, and technically that relationship isn't over, but it feels like it is.. When I first met her, she had a marriage that was over, and two kids.. At first I had to try and convince myself that I shouldn't be interested in her.. Her husband move out New Years eve 2 years ago.. There went one of my reasons.. Then I wasn't sure if I was ready to be a part of a family.. then I decided if I really wanted to be with her.. That I need to take a chance.. I guess that's a little more info then you wanted..

Well for me it just built up over several meetings. I liked him instantly and he like me. He worked very hard to get me to notice him and because of this I fell in love. It was quite sudden when it happened, one day I just saw him and I knew. I was surrounded by feelings and I felt a warm glow. I went home and I just knew. That was last June and I am still in it !

Soon as I saw my little Dawn I was smitten, but it took me about an hour to convince her. 13 years together and 10 years married in June - it gets better every year.
