You can take an iPod or portable music device with music you like.
Also you can try not to take the same route each time. I just moved to a new city and I also picked up jogging. I start in the same place each day and as I'm jogging I get to explore the city I'm in.
Or you can jog with a friend.

I can definately run faster and longer when plugged into my MP3 player. Not a great option if you are running along side traffic where you need to pay attention to your environment, but if you are running in a park with a friend, or on the treadmill, then it can be great.
Another problem... you said you are burnt out. Perhaps you took on too much, too soon. Depending on your original fitness level, you may need to ease into running. A Couch to 5K program could get you on track. There's one at SparkPeople (free after registration) and another at CoolRunning (free, but registration to use the cool features).

Buy an iPod, or mix up your excercise, run different routes, do intervals (hard for half a mile, 1 minute rest, easy for half a mile, 1 minute rest ) etc
Try different sports too like cycling or swimming.
