It is difficult to answer you question without additional information but I will say this....A belief in God and a personal relationship with Him can cause this kind of feeling. Keep in mind though that a personal relationship with God is an on-going thing and it does not always make you feel "happy without a reason". It does give a sense of inner peace that can not be explained but it also will sometimes feel "far away" during other times. God Bless

Paramatma has chosen you, and every other person for a
particular purpose. The aim of life is to understand
the greatness of the creator. And to search for the
purpose for which a soul is given human life. This
purpose differs from person to person because it is
dependent on the past Karma of the soul. But one thing
is sure. Human beings are the highest of all creation.
The rest of the creation is intended for the use of
human beings. How you use is dependent on your mantal
attitude.

considering a soul weighs a few grams ,its not to answer questions ,only joking ,i just had to check to be able to narrow down what the something was /is.
it must be relitive to your feeling happy ,we can only be happy for reason and for no reason ,if reason we know why [from who it comes ;ie god]
you are certainly correct that the divine has chosen you for somthing ,we have our life to recall what it is ,it seems to be the reason we all are created ,your happiness is a good clue ,it is as i said by reason of gift from the divine
the divine cares for all of us sending the light to grow food to grow ,man to know etc ,god is the perfect servant giving us all life as a gift ,with out bias ,to all ,for free ,our purpose is to help god and his life ,he sustains to live ,to live well and in peace and in happyness [with] reason

We're here to do something, if you feel happy, keep this state of mind. Even an atheist couldn't be brought here without guidelines.(I am one).
Happiness depends on the way you see things evolving, for yourself or for the entire humanity, when you've got no string attached and that you begin to wonder why you're alive then you're depressed.
It's better to fight for something we don't even know than not to fight at all.

yes it is true . according to Hindu philosophy everyone in the world , every creature in the universe was created by GOD for
a specific purposes .
Knowing who i am in the world and what are my duties to be done in this life etc can be known with YOGA
knowing u self is called as YOGA
knowing about others is also called as YOGA
knowing about the universe is also called as YOGA
Not only with yoga u can get answers for all the above questions
in many ways ,as follows
1. worshipping a god (Rama, Krishna,Shiva,Durga etc)
2.worshipping a proper GURU
3.worshipping mother and father
4.visiting holy places with GURU ADVICES

if u feel,God has a special plan for u,then keep praying for the insight to find Ur calling.when the Holy spirit fills u ,u'll be forever happy and find God's presence and care.
