'Richard Branson is offering to award a $25-million prize to the individual or group able to demonstrate a commercially viable design resulting in the net removal of anthropogenic, atmospheric greenhouse gases each year for at least 10 years, without harmful side-effects.'

I think this is a fantastic idea!

Do you think this will give new life to our planet's efforts to improve the environment?

The greenhouse gases are, according to government paid scientists here, the primary source for global warming. Said global warming is supposedly melting the polar icecaps. This has been attributed to Americans driving SUV's, the use of coal for electric, and cutting down the rain forests of the planet. Since scientists are now saying that Mars is experiencing polar meltdown also, should not the Martians give up their Yukon's, dependence on coal and logging ventures? Why is it that we are not even allowed to discuss the possibility of solar flares here? Why is it that only one point of view is allowed to dominate these discussions? Could it be that Yahoo has an agenda here or something? I know that Yahoo will probably sanction me for speaking out and not believing their mantra here.

consciousness. there are 3 kinds os humans. animals, racionals and spirituals. ANIMALS, like others, don´t care about others. monkeys. they don´t have a future. they have today. selfish. not their fault. many civilizations died because of that. RACIONALS. they know it´s better to live in peace and comunity. one builds houses, other grows food. they do things for the comunity, for themselves too. SPIRITUALS. they don´t care about this life. they know it´s a passage. they sometimes give their lives to others. they should lead us into this. we´re all gonna die. so why not have a decent life? to live in peace? to have a nice house, a nice family? mostly because of the ANIMALS. it´s not their fault. we must educate them. we´re not the same. we´re different. peace and love
