I have a pain that feels like its on my left backside just above my hipbone. Sometimes it also feels like its right above my hip on my left front side on my abdomen. Also, as of right now, I'll feel it go up to my left shoulder.

What is this!? Can it be my appendix, even though that organ is on the right side? Is it gullbladder? Ovaries? What??

***Yesterday was my sister's birthday and I ate quite a bit of junk food, which seemed to aggrevate it a little more. I've had this pain for about a month or so.

an appendix problem wouldnt present itself on the left side with pain that radiated to the shoulder and abdomen. Your kidneys are on the posterior portion of the abdominal cavity (where you said the pain originates. you may have a small problem there such as kidney stones or something along those lines, but that wouldnt radiate to your shoulder. ovarian problems would be on the lower portion of the front abdomen, so i doubt it is that, i also doubt it is the gullbladder. kidneys is my best bet. but that wouldnt explain the pain in the shoulder. as before mentioned see a doctor as they can provide you with the best knowledge of whats going on with your body. if it ever gets significantly worse consider taking yourself to an ER. also keep in mind we cant provide you an accurate guess on what your condition might be on Y!A so dont assume any of us are correct. I hope you feel better

Sounds like a lower back problem, not an appendix problem, but you should see a doctor to get it checked out.

Please go to your doctor or to the ER. Yahoo answers does not in any way have the right answers for you other than this, dear. I hope you're alright.
