This will sound like a stupid question, but I'm American, and I love peanut butter. However, now I'm living/studying in England, and I think all the PB I've tried is horrible in comparison to good old fashioned Jif. (So much so, in fact, that I had my best friend back home send me a jar for Christmas!!) Has anybody tried the stuff on both sides of the pond, and can you tell me a kind that doesn't tast awful?

You can get American peanut butter brands at Costco in the UK. Otherwise, try: www.americansweets.co.uk/

I don't think there's a great deal of difference in it, other than some having chocolate spread in it, some being crunchy and some smooth. Brand-wise though, they are all much the same!
