It is a well established fact that the U.S. Government has passed laws against exercising. They have stopped our kids from walking to school and made it compulsory to eat lard in Texas. Why are they determined to undermine the health of the nation. Is this some sort of conspiracy linked to the Kennedy assasination?

I have trawled the depths on the internet and have not come across any evidence of the fact that Texas are enforcing their people to eat Lard.

I find this prospect both ridiculous and insulting.

I happen to be a jolly Texan, who eats his regular and fair amount of lard a day without causing any upset in the rationing of Texan lard.

Thanks for the laugh.

Maybe there are plans to farm the fat as an alternative to oil - apparently you can make diesel out of it. Also keeps the health insurance business booming.

By the way how is it compulsory to eat Lard, what about vegetarians, Muslims and heart attack victims ? I understand the first two wouldn't matter very much to Texans and would be very much a minority but that's a bit odd - where did your info come from?

No, I don't think so.

I think the problem is that it kids don't know the meaning of work or chores. Their parents are too busy working two jobs to pay for whatever their little brats want, and the parents require nothing from them in the way of chores or getting off their butts.

When a kid is perched in front of the television, video game, or computer all day, and eating all that food they demand that Mom and Dad buy with their two job income, chances are the blubber is going to pile up.

Ever tried to get a teenager to do a chore? They would just die if they had to break a sweat! And the audacity of a two job working parent to even dare ask them to get a bit of dirt under their nails by mowing the grass! "Daddy, I want a $300 i-Pod, let's go get it! "

Ever notice that high school graduates don't want to enter trade schools anymore? They all want to be lawyers and stock brokers so they don't have to get their manicures messed up. Oh what will they do if their toilet clogs up? "OH, fetch one of those uneducated peasants and let him do it!" ( Right! )

Why are kids obese? Because they are spoiled rotten by parents and not made to earn their keep.

Nope....I wish we could blame the government, that's so much fun. But on this one..........the blame begins at home.

It is designed to increase the profits of food processors, food service companies, doctors, dentists and morticians----especially the morticians. There are big bucks in the funeral business. If you don't mind working with dead things, then become a mortician---you will never be out of work, you will own a big home and drive an expensive car and it is a lot less work and hassle than being a big-time TV preacher (I can't stand TV preachers; in fact, I would rather have a roomful of friends that were morticians than one friend that was a TV preacher).

They are trying to kill the people without them knowing about it.
Why?
The American Government is at present in the hands of the Capitalists. Their policy seems to be "Who cares about the rest of the world as long as we have loads of cash in the bank".

The American Government needs to improve it's abysmal record on the environment too.
It is trying to kill the rest of the world by pushing anti-environment policies.

Yeah the Govenment forces people to get Extra-value meals and supersize everything. Its pathetic to blame the Government for everything. It is even more pathetic to believe in conspiracies. TV and vidio games are more to blame for over weight kids than anything. Now run out to dunkin donuts and your kids a bunch of doughnut and discuss with them how the govenment is making them fat, YOUR PATHETIC!!!!
