I don't think he lied. The international intelligence community, the weapons inspectors, congress, and the CIA all thought there were weapons of mass destruction. The lie claim is based largely on the JJoe Wilson fiasco. What really happened is that Joe Wilson overstated his role in intelligence gathering. Even today it is very likely that the Iraqi delegation was trying to get uranium from Niger. Wilson just proved that he was unable to get any info on it. The problem with the war was the assumption that the Iraqi people wanted Saddam gone. That was only true of most of the population. If Iraq were to become a civilzed nation the people would need to be willing to live under our rule long enough to develop their society. They simply won't do that. That was short sighted of congress and the president and the american people.

If your attorney told you that right before you went on trial he has the evidence to prove your innocence and goes into detail explaining that evidence but not showing it to you and you told the judge "I'm innocent and we have the evidence to prove it". Then the DA delays the trial some six months for no good reason other than to talk about the trial. Then the trial begins and your attorney says to you I was mistaken and the evidence was supposed to be there but it's not. Who is going to jail him or you? YOU! Who is responsible because of what the many intelligence agencies told Bush, BUSH. He has never denied he received faulty intelligence reports, after getting into Iraq. Telling someone what someone else told you and you trusted that person is not lying, it is passing on bad information.

M C way to go!

Me personally i never believed a word out of his mouth from day one. However, you'll find a group of people no matter how smart they appear that will continue to support and believe Bush on everything. I would say less than 30% believe him. By the time he leaves office it will be much lower around 20-24% popularity rivaling richard nixons ratings.

Let me ask YOU a question. If someone told you something and you believed it to be true, and you told someone else, and they found out what you said was false, would YOU be a LIAR? Or were you mis-informed?
No cajonese to answer that.
