he cried to his mommy and she was only trying to get us back because after many stealing incidents, her son " stole" from my home when only my little brother was here. He took my gun and ammo. I went to the police and they said they couldnt do anything because it was my word against his word, and anyways we still didnt press charges. Now she comes off with this crap! Yesterday was our court date. We went and they said to have no contact with the victim and my best friend, and they put both defendants(my friend and I) on parental house arrest! I need a good attorney and I would like to know some possible outcomes to this...I will post more later.

ok people you all need to grow up yourselves. you probably dont know what air soft guns are. they are toys! they sell at circuses for crying out loud! he used to play all the time with us, they are meant to shoot each other! we did it as a joke, the only difference is is that he didnt havbe one with him and his mom got mad because of us calling the cops on him(but not pressing charges because we are not low like that) this is totally different than growing up and shooting people with real guns!! i was just trying to ask what could happen. apparently you people dont know how to read. he has played airsoft with me in my house and his over a hundred times and his mom never cared! also the cops got called on me and my friend for shooting ~BB GUNS~ at cans in his backyard. They came out and told us to shoot them in the field behind his house(still in city limits) they basically told us it was still legal just dont do it around houses! Now we r being charged with discharging a firearm!!!!!!

Nobody was fighting anyways this only happened as a joke and besides he has done some pretty bad things to me I have never told my "mommy" about! Like would it make any difference if I told them his mom smoked pot in front of us and said not to tell because if we did she would deny it ever happened and call us both liars. And I'm not just making that up because im mad, it actually happened.

is any of this going to matter in 10 years? answer: no it isnt.
1st of all stop being so defensive. 2 wrongs dont make a right.
the adults handling this situation are not overly concerned about what happened there more concerned that the problem will be ongoing. it sounds like he isnt your enemy so cut him some slack. yes his mom's upset but hey you guys can work it out; you can all be friends again.
in the meantime obey the no contact until it is settled. just handle the situation in a mature way and be friends again when the dust settles.
and you will get off house arrest or whatever it is. learn from this and watch your attitude because you need to take responsiblity for your actions.
if you go through life giving yourself excuses to do things that are wrong; "because he did this, or she did this", you're still going to have to face the consequences for what you did.
learn from this. And try to handle things better in the future. Good luck.

Sounds to me like all of you need to be in juvenile detention for about 5 yrs. Only difference in the one you and one friend shot and yourself is, you and him got caught. The other lied better and nothing happen to him. I think parental house arrest is small compared to what could happen. All the fighting has resulted in this. Stop acting like a bunch of squirt size thugs, take the punishment, and learn from your mistake. The other one that has not been caught for stealing yet, he will get his later, no doubt in my mine. He sounds like he is headed for the big house prison, with the big boys.

I have a soft air pellet gun and CO2 BB handgun. On both packages it states THIS IS NOT A TOY. USE EXTREME CAUTION. MISUSE MAY CAUSE PERSONAL HARM AND INJURY! Yeah! I would say that you and your friend are pretty much screwed.

Maybe they will throw your butt in detention until you grow up some. Sounds to me like you and your friend are a couple of hoodlums who will grow up to be major criminals shooting real guns and bullets unless you are corrected now. I think detention in a facility would be better than house arrest.

Perhaps instead of a good attorney, you should just STOP SHOOTING PEOPLE WITH AIRSOFT GUNS. How does that sound for a solution. Umm...DUH!

I certainly hope they put you in juvie and then incarcerate you until you have grown up. Do you really think this is normal behavior? Do you really believe you did nothing wrong? Good Grief!!!!
