Rawhide is the skin and underlying tissue of cows. This is very bad for dogs that are aggressive chewers They can break a piece off and choke, not to mention what it can get hung up on if they swallow it. Rawhide does not break down easily in the stomach. Remember the horror stories about swallowing gum when you were a child. Well this is true and worse. I suggest a tough bone or nylo-bone they are a better alternative.

Rawhides are VERY dangerous for dogs. The can break off and get lodged or get soggy and get stuck in the dogs throat and are hard to digest. It is not fun to have to pull one out of a dogs throat.
For just a few bucks more you can get a quality beef knuckle bone.

Do not give your dog the pressed bones. I would give them regular rawhide first. My Bulldog almost died with one of them pressed things. The top pressed layer came off the bone, it was paper thin and my dog swallowed it. It got lodged in her throat. If I had not been there to pull it out she would have died. We took her to the vet and she had a couple cuts in her throat that she had to have antibiotics for to keep them from getting infected. A $5.00 bone almost cost me my $2500.00 dog, and it did cost $150.00 in vet bills. Please do not give your dog the pressed rawhide bones. They are bad. I would get a Kong and fill it with stuff you no your dog can have and then freeze it over night. It will last a long time. I heard that the baby food meats with oatmal mixed in work well. That way you could get stuff your dog was not allergic to. Good Luck.

Rawhide is beef hide. Do NOT give your dog the pressed bones. They sliver off in chunks.

Animal hide. It "should" state of the package what type of animal (beef, pig, etc) If pig is on the no list as well consider something like a nylabone or a kong as a "busy toy" that will give your dog something to chew.

The skin of the cow/pig that is why you need to watch where you get them from, I stay away from countries that had mad-cow disease

It's cow leather. Can he have pig? My dogs love pig ears.
