Sure it can. Sweet and sour refer to taste. Many foods have several different kinds of stimuli - some may stimulate the sweet taste buds, some will stimulate the sour ones - thus it can have both sweet and sour flavors. Hot and cold are not related to taste.

The taste receptors for sweet and those for sour are on different parts of the tongue. You taste sweet on the tip of your tongue and sour at the edges towards the throat. This is why you can taste them simultaniously and they do not cancel each other out.
