Just wondering if there was a way for people to stop looking for differences in society, but instead...similarities.

I see exactly where you're headed with this one....
People of the world have alot in common....blood...feelings etc...
and when the lights go out, we're all the same color.
To answer the question.....I'd like to think mankind would pull together in the name of, "survival"......but many people have superiority complexes. I believe those individuals would hide and let others fight, the selfish ones.
Yes, it's a sad truth; racism would still show it's ugly face.
Note: I'd prefer to learn about the aliens, if possible...afterall, if they're capable of traveling to Earth....what else are they capable of?......Not a good idea to make war with beings from another existence.

Yes, there would be human race and alien race. Anyway, it would be good for us as it would unite the whole human race to put up a combined fight against the aliens. All human races would be united for a cause.

Yes it would exist because all races will try and get the aliens to chow on the others rather than on them.
