if for example i get pregnant and the doctor says that there is over 98 percent chance that my baby and me will DIE due to health complications,
and my doc gives me an option for abortion...........why would it be your business? (and NO im NOT referring to abortion for birth control, im referring to a life/death situation)
who are YOU to judge me and my life and look through my medical records and history? would you want ME or any other stranger to look through YOUR medical records and dictate what you should or shouldnt in this time of MEDICAL crisis. Abortion is a MEDICAL ISSUE.
don't you think i as a woman am capable enough to make my own decisions regarding this matter?
abortion is a medical issue between ME and my doctor... who are you to take away my choice? who are you to look through my medical records?

The age old question is if your were on the shore of the river and you saw your spouse and children drowning who do you save. The answer is your spouse. You can always have more children,.
I don't believe abortion should be illegal. There are many reasons medical and legal to terminate a pregnancy.
What people who oppose abortion are fighting against is using it for birth control. Irresponsible and recreational sex are issues that degrade the quality of our society. How we treat the elderly and unborn reflects on the values of civilization.
China is finding out that couples aborting females in favor of conceiving a male child has left a gap in the next generation. There a fewer females available for marriage to all those males.
As long as an abortion is a medical issue most people don't have a problem. Medical records are not open for me to look at anyway, its the law.
Religion is not the issue, civilization is.

First of all I know a few women who were told that they may die or their baby may die, if they carry that child to term- and guess what? They both are alive and well. And besides we have NO right to take the life of our children. YES, an unborn baby is still your child. You are not just doing something to your body- that child that you would be carrying if you were pregnant is created by God, FROM THE MOMENT OF CONCEPTION- not just when it is convenient for you. Also abortion is not a medical issue- it is a life that will be killed. A medical issue is an operation that only concerns your body. Only God has a right to take a life. Abortion is wrong, no matter if you can it medical or not! I know that this is not what you wanted to hear- but God says, CHOOSE LIFE- that does not mean choose to kill in order to live yourself.

Everybody wallows in their own self-given rights but, nobody defends the rights of this harmless, defenceless foetus. If a grown person were to bring a knife to a born child this is homicide and rightly so. Why therefore the difference with a foetus that cannot complain or scream its anguish at being eradicated from life ? You have access to contraception and to a 98% chance of not conceiving. If you are not even willing to take the remaining 2% chance of conception then you should abstain from sex altogether. Why make a victim out of yourself when, the real victim is the foetus? If a pregnancy turns nasty and then it is a question of either the mother or the child surviving then, this can be considered as a disease and only then can a mother decide whether she is to survive or the child. This argument is not based on religion but on ethics and fair play.

If your pregnancy carries a Medical Risk (however small), then you are entitled to undergo an abortion.

Irrespective of the medical risk , the act of bringing the baby into the world is also a moral , social and personal issue, where you need to answer the following questions:

(1) Was the pregnancy planned ? Am I ready for this responsibility ?

(2) Can I care for the child adequately - ensuring a good home , a good family environment, a good quality education , health care etc.

It is cruel to bring a baby into the world and then hand it over to an orphanage or deny him/her a good home & school or be unable to spend quality parentage time with him/her.

whether it rather is an American variety answer you're searching for - then it rather is approximately funds, no longer faith. As in federal tax funds - and whilst that is federal - then those adversarial choose the money cut back off, whilst those that trust abortion choose the money to bypass. it rather is federal government funds - that is used in hospitals stored funded via federal funds. those inner maximum hospitals are no longer stricken via federal funds, nor are the numerous that shuttle outdoors america to international locations for his or her abortions. keeping apart non secular interest from funds to save lives has continually the situation, in many the memories I even have seen. seem at who use each and each wellbeing middle, and the abortions there, funds dictates wellbeing middle coverage to grant this technique. it rather is likewise a "have" and "have not" situation, as many can no longer shuttle to different international locations by way of their life form, being poorer than individuals which could. So those women individuals are in a complicated subject, with few taking good care of them. As I in many circumstances state - abortion isn't a controversy I even have any say in. i individually do no longer care approximately my tax funds used in federal medicine care the two - what's that to me, use it to save lives is advantageous with me. i exploit federal funds for my bronchial asthma, as we communicate, women individuals choose better than I do. All i individually choose - is to by no potential hear relating to the back alley evening abortions the place the female dies, and different horror info from the 50/60's (all people bear in concepts the horror info/memories?) PLEASE do no longer repeat this historic term!!

Whoa, calm down! We haven't even started "attacking" and you're all huffing about your hypothetical situation.

But you're right, if it were only for contraceptive purposes, then that would be our business as Christians. But if it involves a life and death situation, then it's okay. It's protocol that doctors choose the life of the mother over the baby's.

I don't know you and don't look at your medical records. Yes, I admit I'm religous, but some people do that because they want to help. As for me, I do help a stranger but when he/she needs someone to help. But I don't go into the medical records. All I do is chaotic and I'm also doing my best not to mind other people's records even if I had the authority to. So I let everybody to decide for themselves including you. I'm not going to be a mother but its you who will be. So NOT all religous people would do that and I apologise on their behalf.

Pro-abortion women have a distinct fondness for the first-person personal pronoun in its various forms -- which speaks volumes as to their self-absorbed mindset.

Your "life and death" story was riveting to read, but the truth is, this sort of "life and death" situation is incredibly rare.

It certainly does not apply to most abortions, over 99% of which are done simply for convenience, not life or death.

Life begins at conception -- modern advances in prenatal science easily tell us that.

Do you really believe that Roe v. Wade would have become constitutional law if the Supreme Court could have seen ultrasound pictures in 1973? Come on, think about it.

Abortion is murder. It's a modern-day holocaust. There's no hemming or hawing that can lead us to any other conclusion.

Women's "right to choose" does not give us the right to commit murder. The time to choose is before going to bed -- not after.

You've already been born -- that's the one thing that you definitely have in common with every other pro-abort type. So it's very easy for you to say that abortion is okay -- you don't have to worry about being one of its millions of innocent victims.

Dont even call it an abortion - you can call it a miscarriage (or more correctly - a missed miscarriage) then you get all the "oh dear, I am so sorry" BS.

I have had 3 miscarriages. One of them was a missed miscarriage (which means the fetus died but was not ejected). I had to have an abortion to remove it.

Ok it was not killing a living baby, but you can still call it the same thing.

And I agree with you totally. It is NONE of their business. Its a woman's choice.

I would NEVER want to see anyone's medical records for any reason. I do NOT believe that it is anyone's business (including mine) that you or anyone else had an abortion. I do believe that it is wrong to murder a fetus but I do not wish to judge you for doing so. I personally believe that our government should NOT approve of murder unless there is a clear medical reason for doing so, as you listed in this question. I still would NEVER want to point a finger at you or say that you have done something wrong. When we point a finger at others, we have three pointing back at us. The scriptures say that "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of GOD." I am sorry that there are some who do want to post themselves outside of clinics and attempt to cause such problems. That is certainly NOT my idea of what GOD would wsant us to do. I hope that this makes some sense. Jesus died so that we ALL would have an opportunity to be in heaven, not just a few but ALL!

To become a real Christian, we are told that we must HEAR the WORD in John 6:45, Jesus said, “It is written in the prophets, And they shall all be taught by God. Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me.” We are also told so in Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. We are told the we must BELIEVE in Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. We are also told so in Mark 16:16, Jesus said “He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.” and in John 5:24 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. We are told that we must REPENT (or turn from sin) in Luke 13:3 I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish. Also in Acts 17:30 Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent. We are told to CONFESS CHRIST in Romans 10:9-10 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. We are also told in 1 Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. We are to be BAPTIZED according to Acts 2:38 Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” and Mark 16:16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. We are to CONTINUE to be FAITHFUL UNTIL DEATH according to Revelation 2:10c Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. We also know that Paul wrote in Romans 14:12 each of us shall give account of himself to God. It is important that we not ignore what is written, change what is written, or add to what is written in the New Testament which is our Christian Guide. Have a great day!
