the Scottish have to be so different to the rest of the world and have their Sausages square? When the rest of the world has the traditional shaped Sausage?

I really don't know but I do remember having square sausages when I was about 8 just about all the time (forced on me) they were alright but i prefer the traditional sausages. I didn't realise they originated from Scotland.

Are you really all that hung up about this? What difference does it make as to the shape of someone's cooked sausages? If someone chose to make their sausages in trapezoid shapes, would your life be ruined? Talk about not having a life........

Square sausages are easier to cook on all sides as they don't roll around the pan getting too brown on one side and pale as an Englishman on the others.

it's not even that they taste better - i have lived in scotland for years and i think it is disgusting
come to that - the scots have the proud distinction of introducing the deep fried mars bar to the world
