Try not using soap as that can dry your skin out... try something other than soap like a special face cleanser etc

Try Dove soap. It's got beauty cream and aloe (Vitamin E). During the winter I have dry skin on my legs and arms so I use it. I use the scentless brand since I'm a male. Also you can buy a number of bath oils to help with dry skin. They have medicated oils and soap for guys and girls. Stay away from harsh soaps like Irish Springs, Coast, etc. They will tear your skin up.

My partner used to get very dry skin on his face - more when he was stressed. He used this cream called Eumovate and after a couple of days it cleared up and hasn't come back since, although to be fair he is better at managing his stress now. We also bought some Aloe Vera gel and that worked quite well too but not as good as the Eumovate. If it continues can you see your doctor about it? It might be something underlying. Good luck.

I think I've tried every soap on the market and nothing helps. Just dried out even more.
Have got the facial wash called WOOSH from Benefit (got it from Debenham - it's great but don't use it near your eyes.
Also use No 7 Advance Day cream and that helps immensely.
I am bother with eczema so got to be very careful with products.
Good luck and hope helps you.

Don't put soap on your face. I also have this problem. Use soap and water and moisturise after washing. Maybe even use dermotological wipes with mousturiser. Seaweed soap is also natural and wont dry skin.

I have an 102 year old aunt and she never uses soap
on her face at all. She bathes in cool water then she
moisterises with a little Nivea. She has beautiful skin.
So - stop the soap.

You may have a skin condition.
Aqueous Cream can be used with water for washing and on its own as a moisturiser, it is a non perfumed based cream.
If you go to your doctor he/she may be able to advise and prescribe 'aqueous cream for you or you can buy it over the counter in the chemist.
Aqueous Cream is used for many different dry skin conditions.
E45 Cream may also be of use.

It's not the soap, it's what you do after washing it.
You need to use a Moisturizer. I like Oil of Olay, or
Avon, has everything you need.
Use an Astringent first, it cleans any dirt away.

its the soap causing the dry skin...
stop using a zillion and one "beauty products" they never ever do what theyre supposed to, and they have side effects which your average test rabbit isnt going to tell them about is it...
use pure soap... LUX or fairy. (or baby soap)
all soap is is a degreaser... youre stripping your natural oils away... stop washing so aggressively... and stop beleieving all the glossy adverts.. all they want to do is sell you things
