well, just buy her some very nice gifts such as a really big teddy bears, flowers, perfume... and tell her that u will always be by her side whenever she needs u... tell her that she can always share her problems with u, and u have to calm and help her ease the pain... taht way, she will see u as her knight in shining armour, and she will definitely say yes to u...

your silly pal... if you want to be unhappy your whole life ... go ahead and take her out... but if you really want to have a happy life again... then skip her and get your mind ready for someone new...
after 3 attemps you should know that you maybe love/like each other... but that u will never get happy together ;O)
