If the cage is tied together, then a good Crane rigger should be able to pick it up and get it in there. but it all falls on the engineer who designed the rebar and spec'd where and how much it iwas tied together.

It's usually lowered with a crane. The rebar cage has to be tied well enough to withstand the extra handling.

The pick points are, it seems to me, what is critical. If you are unsure, then have a pow wow with the engineers, owner's and contractor's, the rigger and operator, and even the surveyor maybe to discuss the process. You don't want to have a mess to slow you down.

Everything has to connect to the pick points.

did you weld the rebar or at least wire tie it together?
