Is the Amharic (The Ethiopian language) and the Hebrew very similar?

I noticed they both write the same. Do they have the same language, or the two languages are close.

They have completely different alphabets. Amharic uses the Ge'ez alphabet. While they are both Semitic languages, I have never heard that they resemble each other closely. I wonder if you are thinking of Aramaic? It was the language of the Jews two thousand years ago and more. That indeed uses the Hebrew alphabet and is very close to it. Parts of the Bible were indeed written in Aramaic.

You are of course joking. Arabic is a Semitic language, mostly spoken by Arabs (Iraq, Syria, Jordan and the Arabian peninsula). Urdu is spoken in many parts of Pakistan, it is basically Hindi written in Arabic script - don't kill me, a Muslim Pakistani told me that! Farsi is the same as Persian, it is an Indo-Persian language, varieties of which are spoken by the Kurdish people and some Afghans. Mostly spoken in Iran (formerly Persia). Since Urdu and Farsi are both derivatives of Sanskrit and use the Arabic alphabet, I can see some connection there, but apart from the alphabet I can't see anyway that learning Arabic would help you learn Farsi. Two years is not enough for all three!

They have similarities. Its believed that the Queen of Sheba's relationship with King Solomon caused a mixing of cultures through a son they bore who supposedly became king of Ethiopia.
