Well i have to say....one of my FAVORITE!!! songs. But for a first dance..i dont think so..maybe later in the reception but i would definately pick something more elgant and slow for a first dance between you and your man. But,...everyone is doing something different these days..if you want it..go for it!!

Love the song. Traditionally the song for the bride and groom is a slow dance. But if they want White Wedding by Billy Idol then why not? Their wedding - their choice.

"White wedding" by Billy Idol ? Of course I like this song.
It would be a great idea to use it for a bride and grooms first dance at their wedding. Sure there are many others that you can use for a wedding's first dance but this one seems to be appropriate.

I love that song, I also love Billy Idol. Do you by any chance know what that song is about or do you just want it because its called "White Wedding"?
If you dont know Billy's sister got pregnant and her family was furious and he wrote it to chastize her about a shotgun wedding. The intent behind it is not a nice one. I dont think for your first song its very appropriate, and I am a big fan of the rock out first dance (Loved that YouTube video btw!). I wouldnt even play this later in the night, its just not a very nice song. Pick one of his others, he has alot of great songs that rock.

Sure! Why not! I Love that song!
It's your wedding and you can have what every you want for your first dance!
It gets so boring watching all those couples 'dancing' to slow songs! Have a funky song and really have some fun with it!
It will be a nice touch that your guests will remember!
My Fiance and I are having '500 miles' by the Proclaimers for ours! It's fun and we love dancing like mad people to it!
Congratulations!

No, I don't think that its suitable. The first wedding song should be a nice slow and romantic song. However it is your wedding and if that is what you want then go for it

Who cares what anyone else thinks - it's your wedding and your first dance, and as long as both of you like it that's all that matters, as it's bound to reflect both of your personalities.
On the other hand, whilst I love the song, I can't remember the exact words - might be worth listening to it carefully to check!!!

it's a good song but might be a bit too heavy for a first dance song. You need something a little bit more mushy and romantic for that.
Great song though. Like it. :-)
