Try becoming friends with girls. Once you are used to being around them and understand male/female relationships, confidence will follow.

I am the same but found becoming friends is a good starting place.
Be wary of trying the internet road though. Or if you do watch yourself. Lots of strange ones on here. Not all though before anyone goes off on one.

none of those chat up lines, they never work!
make an effort, fix your hair, smell nice,
dont be too cocky. there is a huge difference between confidence and cockyness! trust me!
subtle confidence; like smiling, saying a polite hello, walking proudly, and being confident in yourself and your personality. if you feel good about youself, then your confidence always follows.
cockyness: experience has taught me that lads who think they are 'all that' are a little too forward. it scares girls away.

im the same used to be terrible with women but its not that bad just talk to them properly none of the cheesy chat up rubbish show an interest in what there saying and just listen you'd be suprised how many women who will appreciate just being asked what they did today, or ask what they enjoy doing you'll only have problems if you start talking rubbish and lying

i know this is a common answer but be yourself because girls hate fake guys and it helps to have a good sense of humor. feel confident & be confident

Be yourself take your time dont rely on your mates do it for yourself you will take a few knocks but you have to bounce back dont be shy just do it and dont think twice because you never do it
