Freezer suprise dinner-find something that will not require exact timings so that if you end up being otherwise engaged it won't be fatal for dinner. Roasting a chicken very slowly is always a good one -or brisket beef joint with some onions and red wine-cook very slowly for 3-4 hours. If you do garlic or horseradish mash to go with you can put in the oven to crisp rather than serve straight away when ready. Or tray baked veg will suffer a lengthy cook on slow. Keep it simple so you're not flapping, you get the jist anyway...
Candles, if you have them, if not and you have a spare quid then tea lights from the supermarket are good, but anyway set the lights low. Pop an appropriate cd in the stereo and get out a dvd or two to watch later.
Clear away any clutter in the lounge/living areas. Just sets the adult scene-tripping over toys or the gas bill is not what's required here after all.
Turn the heating up, draw the curtains and get your glad rags on-complete with heels and make-up and have a good evening.
Most blokes will respond to the effort you've taken-and if something slightly more provocative is required then ditch the clothes for nice undies-but keep the heels!

free V cards are available online and you can have some fun with those, write a personal poem to your loved one, pick some wildflowers from the countryside, (don't steal your neighbours daffs) say those words they long to hear, think about what he/she wants most from you (i'm sure it costs nothing) have a great V day and ENJOY each other ;) H

Very romantic! You might want to think of something nicer than saying 'fancy a s&ag'!!! How about cooking a meal and have soft lighting with soft music and then romantically asking to go to bed...?

Make him a coupon book.
Cook him a homemade meal of his favorite dishes.
