"you are in light , others are in dark , you are unique others are morons, you are special others are dumb."

This is the way every cult religions act's to isolate their followers apart from the rest of the world , and brainwash them step by step.

Why the christian / Islam followers think - they are unique and the outside world is moron. they are gifted . .? out side world is evil and scary place :-)

The pastor will hug the follower and " I'm happy you have come " you are in light - they are in dark ?

Christianity is definitely not a cult. A cult says that you cannot get out of it. Christians all over the world are free to come into and leave the Church as they please. No Christian living by the true beliefs of the Christian church thinks an outsider is a moron.

Today, the term "cult" can refer to:

: formal religious veneration : worship
: a system of religious beliefs and ritual; also : its body of adherents
: a religion regarded as unorthodox or spurious; also : its body of adherents
: a system for the cure of disease based on dogma set forth by its promulgator
a : great devotion to a person, idea, object, movement, or work (as a film or book); especially : such devotion regarded as a literary or intellectual fad
b : a usually small group of people characterized by such devotion

Most Christians when they refer to a "cult" they are referring to any belief system that ventures outside of the guidelines set by the Bible.

John 3:1-5 : "Now there was a Pharisee named Nicodemus, a leader of the Jews. He came to Jesus by night and said to him, "Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God; for no one can do these signs that you do apart from the presence of God."Jesus answered him, "Very truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God without being born again."Nicodemus said to him, "How can anyone be born after having grown old? Can one enter a second time into the mother's womb and be born?" Jesus answered, "Very truly, I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God without being born of water and Spirit."
So,in a theological sense, all Christians are born again. But if by born again you are refering to the more Pentecostal groups, they are not a cult. They are merely a denomination of Christianity.

John3:3 'no one will enter the kingdom of God unless he is born again'
Guess it's only the cult members that will make it to heaven then.

We are all created in the image and likeness of God, we have all the same end and we come from the same source. In Christianity it's supposed to be love of God and neighbor that's important because God is love, so much so that he died for you .
